In the Old Testament, God’s Spirit and Presence came to inhabit the Temple built out of stone, and even there the Glory of God was so strong that at times they couldn’t even minister there. At Pentecost, the Spirit of God came upon the disciples and now we are told that we are His temple!! In some small way, we have become the dwelling place of the Living God!
All too often I see the overlooking this great miracle and resorting back to focusing on a building, a structure that will crumble and fall, while they overlook the treasures that are before them in the men and women are the temple of GOD!!
When I enter into a time of prayer, may I remember that He is HERE, present and wholly willing to listen to my heart as I meet with Him.
